About This Performance

Focusing on the highly poetic lieder of Robert Schumann, Röschmann and Uchida – among today’s finest interpreters of art-song – unite for a concert that showcases two brilliant artists who are fully involved in bringing the music’s meaning forward. Together they will communicate the wide palette of different, sometimes extreme, sometimes very gentle and subdued emotions of Schumann’s and Berg’s song cycles.
