The Incredible András Schiff Performs Beethoven

"Here is an astonishing demonstration of how to hold a capacity audience spellbound simply by applying the purest musicianship to the purest music" (The Daily Telegraph, London)

Returning to PCMS for a rare recital, Hungarian pianist András Schiff joins us at the Perelman Theater on Friday, October 31st at 8 pm. Widely respected for his interpretations of Bach and his deconstruction of Beethoven's 32 sonatas, Schiff has also collaborated with orchestras from around the world and even created his own chamber orchestra (the Cappella Andrea Barca).

The New York Times hails András Schiff as an artist who "has thought long and lovingly about how to make music emerge naturally."  Hear this singular talent first hand during this eagerly anticipated all-Beethoven recital in the intimate Perelman Theater.
