PCMS welcomes Canadian violinist James Ehnes and pianist Andrew Armstrong to the Perelman Theater on Thursday, October 23 at 8 pm. Poised to become "one of the most important classical artists of the twenty-first century", Ehnes brings a musical style which in past performances has "thrilled the audience, capturing the imagination with an interpretation that was wholly authentic and vital" (Winnipeg Free Press). Pianist Andrew Armstrong joins Ehnes for an evening of works by Mozart, Bach, Aaron Kernis (Philadelphia Premiere) and Richard Strauss.
