Education Programs
Philadelphia music schools provide students with valuable instruction and performance opportunities. PCMS, through its annual music education program, enhances this training by putting young people into direct contact with some of the world’s most talented and acclaimed concert artists. Since education is a lifelong pursuit, PCMS also offers audience members informative pre-concert lectures. Now in its 10th year, the PCMS program will encompass over 50 events, including:

Program Overview
Unlimited Pass Programs
PCMS offers full-time students under the age of 35 access to our entire season of concerts for one low price through our popular Unlimited Student Pass program.
Children's Concerts
Free interactive concerts for children from grades 3 through 7, introducing them to the different families of instruments, to great styles of the past and present, and to exciting music.
Master Classes and Seminars
Free in-school classes conducted by master artists from around the world to music students at high schools and universities around the city. These unique classes offer students direct contact with internationally renowned artists. For a complete list of 2011-12 master classes, click here.
Pre-Concert Lectures

Student Ticket Fund
Through a special Student Ticket Fund, PCMS provides nearly 1000 free tickets to students participating in its master classes and seminars.
