The PCMS Social Series

By Brian Potter on September 27, 2010

If you attended a PCMS concert at the Philosophical Society last season, you may have enjoyed a beer tasting, coffee cupping or other special event along with the music.  The response to these receptions was so positive that this year we've decided to make them a regular part of ALL of our concerts at APS.

World-class music in a convivial, salon-style atmosphere -- that's the vision for what we're calling the PCMS Social Series.  Starting with Vinson Cole's recital on October 17, we're pairing 15 concerts at Benjamin Franklin Hall with complimentary tastings from some of our area's finest purveyors of food and drink.  Think craft beer & wine tastings, coffee cuppings, artisanal desserts, appetizers, good stuff like that.  We have some great guests lined up that we'll be unveiling in the coming weeks, so watch this space for more info on the guests du jour.

Got an idea for a vendor we simply must include?  Drop me a line at bpotter@pcmsconcerts.org, and I'll see what we can do!
