About This Performance

Three world-renowned classical music stars all under the age of 40 come together on the Perelman Theater stage for an evening mainly devoted to Slavic music. Violinist Karen Gomyo–“a first-rate artist of real musical command, vitality, brilliance, and intensity” (Cleveland Plain Dealer)–is joined by her on- and off-stage partner, Christian Poltéra–“an outstanding Swiss cellist who plays on a superb Strad” (Gramophone) –and Finnish virtuoso Juho Pohjonen, a pianist hailed for both his “impeccable technique and clear-eyed approach to music making” (New York Times).
