The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society’s “Social Series” supports and promotes local businesses by pairing world-class chamber music concerts with local food and beverage tastings at the American Philosophical Society’s Benjamin Franklin Hall (427 Chestnut St.).
Over the past eight years, the Series has featured over 100 purveyors, introducing our audience to artisans from around the city — from cheesemongers, brewers, and chocolatiers to vintners, bakers, and coffee roasters.

Showcase Your Business
As a member of the Sustainable Business Network and Fair Food Philly, we offer local businesses the opportunity to engage with 200-350 patrons before the concert and during an extended intermission. We promote your event alongside our concert marketing and subsidize the cost of the tastings. Vendors are also welcome to sell their products in addition to offering the tasting.

Below are some of the vendors who we have featured on the Social Series.
“The PCMS Social Series is an excellent medium for exposing our products to a wide variety of people. We are a relatively small brewery still trying to break into a large market, and having a captive audience of 350+ potential customers for us to showcase our products was invaluable. We were very fortunate to be able to participate in this and hope to again in the future.” — Old Forge Brewery
“Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of the tasting series! We enjoyed ourselves immensely and found your patrons to be very interested in and appreciative of the samples. I for one was very impressed that PCMS does this kind of outreach and community engagement. The music was excellent too!” — Cherry Grove Farm
“The event was a wonderful success…it was beneficial to experience the reactions and decision making process from an alternative audience. I love connecting with [PCMS] and we complemented each other well.” — The Random Tea Room
“This is a wonderful collaboration because the music being presented and the pastries we bake are both made by hand and with care for the artistry involved.” — Termini Brothers Bakery
