About This Performance

Among BBC Magazine’s “greatest violists of all time”, Kim Kashkashian has appeared on the PCMS stage more than 25 times over the last quarter century with a dazzling array of artists and ensembles. This program, with four distinguished collaborators , showcases music from Germany, Hungary, the U.S., and Armenia, including sacred, folk, and contemporary works.

Reflections from Around the World
Program includes works by Beaser, Copland, Jani, Kurtág, Komitas, Law, Lyon, Mansurian, Schubert, Stockhausen, and von Bingen.
