Adam Wernick

Adam Wernick has been a sought-after composer, music director and sound designer for more nearly thirty years.

Known for his theatrical collaborations, his work has been heard in many venues throughout the country, including The Guthrie Theater, The Shakespeare Theatre Company, Denver Center Theater Company, Manhattan Theater Club, The Kennedy Center, The Royal Shakespeare Company and many others.

His commissioned concert works include chamber music, concerti, and works for voice and orchestra. His works have been performed by The Twenty-First Century Consort, Network for New Music, Orchestra 2001, The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, American Composers Forum and others.

Wernick’s compositions have been supported by grants from The McKnight Foundation, The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, The Independence Foundation, The Philadelphia Music Project, The Presser Foundation, The Henson Foundation and ASCAP.

After many years of living in Philadelphia, Mr. Wernick now lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota with his wife and two daughters.
