About This Performance

“Fasten your seatbelt for all future performances,” advocated a Philadelphia Inquirer critic after hearing Alexandre Moutouzkine, the Russian-American pianist who is just at “the beginning of a career that will matter.” Winner of Astral Artists’ 2009 National Auditions, Moutouzkine will demonstrate his spontaneity, invention and superlative technique in an ambitious PCMS debut program of works by Rachmaninov and Schumann.

Rachmaninov: Thirteen Preludes, Op. 32
Schumann: Carnaval, Op. 9
