Acclaimed for “wonderful, selfless music-making” (The Times, London), the magnificent Brentano Quartet returns to the Society for its annual appearance, joining forces with Philadelphia favorites Conyers and Biss for an afternoon of late Beethoven and Schubert’s magnificent Trout Quintet.

Joseph H. Conyers was appointed assistant principal bass of The Philadelphia Orchestra in 2010 and has been acting associate principal since 2017.
