About This Performance

This powerhouse ensemble combines three of today’s most luminary chamber musicians: former Johannes Quartet violinist Soovin Kim, former Emerson Quartet cellist Paul Watkins, and pianist Gloria Chien. Philadelphia Orchestra Principal Clarinet Ricardo Morales adds his “utterly natural musical grace” (New York Times) for a performance of Olivier Messiaen’s hauntingly beautiful Quartet for the End of Time.

Schumann: Fantasiestücke, Op. 73
Schumann: Piano Trio in D Minor, Op. 63
Messiaen: Quartet for the End of Time
