About This Performance

Canadian composer and pianist Stewart Goodyear has been hailed as “one of the best pianists of his generation” by the Philadelphia Inquirer. For his PCMS return, he joins forces with the Philadelphia-based Daedalus Quartet for Brahms’s splendid Quintet in F Minor and Goodyear’s own piano quintet, a highly virtuosic work that pays homage to the spirit of Beethoven.
