About This Performance

After a performance of Beethoven’s Quartet Op. 18, No. 1, The Strad proclaimed: “The Doric moved together with absolute unanimity, like a great sea anemone, and this was reflected in the unity of their sound. There was great wisdom in their Beethoven.”

Beethoven: Quartet in F Major, Op. 18, No. 1
Beethoven: Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 130 w/ Grosse Fuge, Op. 133
