About This Performance

Two of America’s brightest young ensembles unite for an evening of 20th century repertoire, including a string octet never before performed on our series. A 45-minute, hyper-romantic work of stunning ambition, Enescu’s C Major Octet combines his burgeoning love for polyphony with sounds that reflect his Romanian heritage.
