About This Performance

Praised for their “expert musicianship, razor-sharp ensemble, and deep musical feeling” (Chicago Tribune), the Dover Quartet returns to the PCMS stage with Michelle Cann, “a pianist of sterling artistry” (Gramophone). The evening features Karim Al-Zand’s third quartet, which portrays chamber music as a “lively conversation among companions,” and concludes with Brahms’ fiery and dramatic Piano Quintet in F Minor.
