About This Performance

Winner of top prizes at the Banff, Fischoff and Wigmore Hall International String Competitions, the Philadelphia-based Dover joins forces with the incomparable bassist and composer Edgar Meyer—“the most remarkable virtuoso in the relatively un-chronicled history of his instrument” (The New Yorker)—for a performance of Meyer’s own String Quintet, which encompasses bluegrass, jazz and classical styles.
