About This Performance

Considered one of the most remarkably talented string quartets to emerge at such a young age, the Dover Quartet swept the 2013 Banff International String Quartet Competition, winning the Grand Prize as well as all three Special Prizes. Recently named the first Quartet-in-Residence at the Curtis Institute, this collaboration with Curtis President and violist Roberto Díaz is a natural fit.

Beethoven: Quartet in A Major, Op. 18, No. 5
Shostakovich: Quartet No. 7, Op. 108
Brahms: String Quintet in G Major, Op. 111
