About This Performance

More than one of North America’s premier wind quintets, Grammy-nominated Iamni Winds has carved out a distinct presence in the classical music world with dynamic playing and culturally adventurous programming that artfully bridges European, American, African and Latin American traditions. Returning to the art Museum by popular demand , the Imani presents another appealing, genre-breaking program that features the group’s own arrangements alongside works from Cuba, Russia, Argentina and Brazil.
