Following her 2019 PCMS debut with brother Sheku, Isata Kanneh-Mason—one of Britain’s most acclaimed young pianists—returns to Philadelphia for an imaginative solo recital, encompassing sonatas by Mozart and Beethoven, Rachmaninov’s epic Études-Tableaux, Op. 39, and a new work by British-Jamaican composer Eleanor Alberga. “Kanneh-Mason realizes every expressive moment with sensitivity” (The Guardian).
