The Jerusalem Quartet “has everything you could wish for—miraculously honed intonation and perfect ensemble playing matched by innate understanding” (BBC Music). Its first PCMS program in six seasons explores different aspects of Romanticism through contrasting works by Mendelssohn, Webern, and Tchaikovsky.
