About This Performance

The Juilliard Quartet plays “magically, like a single four-voiced instrument, and the music it makes sounds like the most natural and inevitable thing in the world” (Broad Street Review). Widely considered the quintessential American string quartet, the Juilliard returns for an incredible 45th appearance on our series with a program that features a treasure of the 20th century quartet repertoire in Dutilleux’s Ainsi la nuit.
