The Roger and Margaret Berlin Endowed Emerging Instrumental Chamber Music Performance, in honor of Saul and Belle Jacobs, and Doris and Harry Berlin

Praised for their stage presence, fiery vitality, and musical empathy, the Berlin-based Leonkoro Quartet is one of the most exciting European ensembles to emerge this decade. Winners of several prestigious awards, including first prize at the 2022 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition, this fast-rising foursome blends youthful exuberance and mature musical insight in a program of works by Haydn, Britten, and Mendelssohn.
