The passionate group of artists in the Marinus Ensemble “come together in various combinations to bring new perspectives to great music.” Their wide-ranging program spans the European continent, from Turina’s distinctly Andalusian Piano Quartet to one of Shostakovich’s best-known and most compelling works: the masterful Piano Quintet in G Minor, Op. 57.

The Marinus Ensemble will give a master class for students at Settlement Music School (Curtis Branch) on Friday, February 22, 4-6 pm.

The Marinus Ensemble is a passionate group of artists that is dedicated to engaging audiences through the interactive performance of great music. It consists of twenty extraordinary artists, all of whom received training at such acclaimed schools as Curtis, Juilliard, and the New England Conservatory and come together in various combinations to bring new perspectives.
