About This Performance

After stunning solo recitals in 2022 and 2023, we are thrilled to welcome Sheku and Isata Kanneh-Mason back to our series for their latest PCMS duo recital. The evening showcases cello sonatas by Fauré, Poulenc, and Mendelssohn, as well as the Philadelphia premiere of a new work by British composer Natalie Klouda.

Pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason is in great demand internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. She offers eclectic and interesting repertoire with recital programs encompassing music from Haydn and Mozart via Fanny Mendelssohn and Clara Schumann, Chopin, and Brahms to Gershwin and beyond.
