About This Performance

The Society is pleased to present these three celebrated musicians in their inaugural season as a trio. Highlighting an outstanding program of works for clarinet trio is a rarely-performed piece by Italian composer Nino Rota. Widely known for scoring films such as The Godfather, Rota also wrote highly sophisticated, inventive chamber music as is evidenced in his richly melodic Clarinet Trio.
