“There is no finer ensemble in the world, expressively and technically” than the Takács Quartet (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette). Formed in Budapest in 1975, it has become a Philadelphia favorite for its unique blend of drama, warmth and humor, combining four distinct musical personalities to bring fresh insights to the string quartet repertoire.

The Perelman Theater is part of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, located on the southwest corner of Broad and Spruce Streets in Center City Philadelphia.
