2018-19 Season Announcment

By Brian Potter on March 1, 2018.

One of our favorite times of the year has arrived: the announcement of our upcoming season and the chance to chat and explore with our patrons all of the new musical adventures that await us.

In every PCMS season, great artists and ensembles transcend the chamber music genre, and routinely defy description. They also bring something fresh and new to familiar repertoire.

With this in mind, over one-third of our 50-concert season will once again feature debuts of all shapes and sizes. We will offer a three-concert Leonard Bernstein retrospective honoring his 100th birthday; a three-concert early music series featuring our first harpsichord recital; our first-ever trumpet recital; and eight premieres (including two world premieres).

Debuts include the cellist Gautier Capuçon, baritone Simon Keenlyside, tenor Lawrence Bronwlee, Israeli Chamber Project, the Romeros, David Bilger, the Heath and Omni Quartets, and many others.

This and so much more—we look forward to sharing as many events together as possible. Of course the way to get the best seats at the most affordable price is to subscribe. Save up to 25% while receiving priority seating and unmatched flexibility.
