Concert Review:
Mark Padmore, tenor & Jonathan Biss, piano

Philadelphia Inquirer Classical Music Critic Peter Dobrin reviewed our first vocal recital of the 2014-15 Season: a PCMS debut collaboration between Mark Padmore, tenor and Jonathan Biss, piano. The concert took place on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 8 pm at the Kimmel Center's Perelman Theater.

In his review, Dobrin praises Padmore for his "natural" sound and ability to express the lyric "as clearly as though spoken" while adding that he was "grateful to have someone such as Biss emphasizing textural clarity at the keyboard." Read the full review on Philly.com.
